After the weekend storm pushed through Lebanon, Missouri, Scott Wellesley took pictures of trees collapsed in U-shapes in his neighborhood. Wellesley notes his luck at not losing power all weekend, while many others were left in the dark.

Michelle Diederich of Pineville, Missouri, writes "This is the worst ice storm we have ever seen here. Trees are down everywhere and many are out of power. It is currently snowing."
Still, she notes, "among all the chaos, lies quiet beauty." |

Joan Cutner of Bowie, Texas, snapped this photo of a "rooster" given to her family by Dave Anderson, her husband's coworker. Anderson welded, painted and built a rooster-and-hen set for his mother-in-law and decided Cutner's family should have one of the birds as well.

Jason Mohler took this picture Sunday of cars waiting in line to fill up at the pump.
"People scrambled to find gas stations with electricity and fuel," Mohler writes. "Most of the city is without electricity. What few stations and restaurants that do have electricity stayed busy." |

Teri Squires was on her way to watch the Bears play the Seahawks on Sunday when she passed by an iced Shambolee Golf Course. Ducks were the only "golfers" and icicles hung from lonely golf carts.
