I personally can't stand gyms, they intimidate me, all those buff people laughing as I TRY to run for 5 seconds on the treadmill :rolf:

BUT, if I had to pick one I'd say the YMCA because it's cheap and it's small but it's got all the stuff I need and you get the option of doing those classes and stuff

Not from florida, I like Golds Gym. The one I go to has a girls gym inside the gym so they are comfortable when working out.How are the prices around there for a year ?

I'm with Rachet - hate gyms. I have a Bowflex at my house...I've actually been using the free weights on there. Yes, it's a shocker...I'm trying to get in shape.

I used to hate going to a gym but since I turned 45 I've joined a local gym (Synergy) and now love it. I go on every day off for at least an hour.

For $29 a month, you can't beat it. I feel great and getting stronger every day.

That'd be great! I know Bally right now is doing $19 down, $19 for the month. But I really dont want to be committed to an entire year
