SERIOUSLY GUYS! I dont know what I was thinking today, it was 88 degrees out and I decided to go to the local beach at the lake at NOON. I was out till 3 and I only put SPF on my face... STUPID!!!!!!!

I got home, fell asleep for 2 hours (inside, i was really tired from getting up early to work) and woke up sweaty and BURNT to a crisp.. It didnt look THAT bad, until i took off my suit. OMG.. Literally I look like hot pink and white..a lobster, a firetruck, take your pick.

I usually wear like a 4 when I lay out which is better than nothing.. but dont be dumb like me and decided to skip it all together and just slather on the oil and plop out.

JUST MY FRIENDLY REMINDER! :airhorn:

It was my dumb mistake. I bought SPF 15 for my weekend out at the river coming up.

:nicethrea That really stinks...I remember when I was about 12, I got burned SO bad that I blistered - my shoulders, chest, face, back, arms. THE worst feeling!! I always wear some sort of SPF outdoors...

Also, don't forget - even when it's overcast outside, wear SPF. The UV is usually high on those days, and you can still burn even though the sun's not directly shining on you.
